This may seem like an obvious thing to say, but at times when folks try to build these structures themselves they don’t take into account the amount of water and soil that are going to put pressure on the wall at a given time. We’ve mentioned that our first goal with retaining walls is making sure that they are able to hold up accordingly. That doesn’t mean though that the wall has to be a blob of concrete that’s doing its best to hold back loose soil. We can build masonry walls, add different types of textures to concrete walls.
