Here in California in certain areas people are afraid to install concrete because the ground may shift and the surface is going to break up. What we can say about those myths is that asphalt may be cheaper on the front end, but not in the grand scheme of things. Also, we know about the tricky Cali soil, and we have ways to combat this.
